NAZI CONSPIRATORS
ARRESTS IN AUSTRIA GARRISON SEIZURE FOILED. STUDENTS CLOSELY WATCHED. (United Press Association—By ElectrU Telegraph.-MUonyright.) (Received 0 a.m.) VIENNA, October 17. The police at Linz raided a Nazi resort, and numerous Nazis were arrested. The raid followed the discovery of an elaborate plot for the seizure of the Linz garrison by Nazi Storm'
Troopers. The arrested men will be charged with high treason. In consequenc of pro-Nazi demonstrations arising out of the establishment of a police station at every university to prevent political rioting, the Universities of Vienna, Innsbruck/ and Graz have been indefinitely closed. The police used rubber truncheons to expel the students, some of whom retaliated with smoke bombs. Many arrests were made.
