BIG LIST OP SALES (Special to “Northern Advocate.”) AUCKLAND, This Day. A big list of sales was finalised yesterday afternoon and a. few more were added at the first call this morning. At the fresh bidding, the market maintained its recent strength with holders advancing their limits for the more popular lines. Banka were very firm with the exception of New Zealands, which were on offer at £2 7/0. In the pastoral section buyers raised their limits to £lO 12/ for Dalgety’s £5 shares. A favourable report of the Farmers’ Auctioneering Company’s year caused buyers to advance their offers for the A preference to IG/G, and for the B’s to 15/6.
Buyers came in again for New Zealand Breweries, but their offers were lowered to £1 15/0.
lu tiie Mining section, Alexanders appreciated as the result of a. report of a new find at the mine and there were buyers at 18/6, but no sellers. Waihis were again on offer at £l6/3, but buyers stopped at £1 5/8. Kuala Kampars were wanted and bids were raised to 8/3. In Government stocks buyers came in again for 3Us. offering £IOO to £lOl according to issue dates. r
