UNDERGROUND EXPLOSION
THREE MEN KILLED. ONE BLOWN TO PIECES. (Received 0 a.m.) PERTH, August 17. A message from Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, states that three minors, Thomas Bennett, 43, Stanley Somerville, 37, and David Green, 29, all married, were killed in the Great Boulder mine today as the result of a premature explo-sion underground. Bennett was blown to pieces.
