WHITE GLOVES
GISBORNE FREE OP CRIME. (Per Association. —Copyright.) GISBORNE, This Day. A pair of white gloves was presented to Mr Justice Blair at the opening of the Supreme Court yesterday, to mark the fact that there were no criminal cases to be dealt with. His Honour congratulated the district on the absence of crime, and’ remarked that this was only the second occasion during his six years’ judicial service that a similar, presentation had been made to him.
