A most enjoyable dance was held in the Parakao Hall last Saturday night in aid of the hall fund. There was a fair attendance, and the music supplied voluntarily by local musicians on piano and accordeon, was really excellent. Mrs R. Aikenhead, who has a very fine, voice, rendered two songs. The prizes for the Monte Carlo waltz, generously donated by Mr E. Alexander, were Avon by Mr and Mrs G. Neale. Mr R. Alexander M.C. , and. kept the proceedings swinging in great style.
