DOCUMENTS IN CAIRNS. {•Received 9 a.m.) • PARIS, July 14.” ' French despatch boats have taken possession of nine islands-ih the China Sea, midway between Indo-China and the Philippines. At present these islands are inhabited by Chinese fishermen. Stone cairns have been erected to contain the documents claiming the land for France.
