COST ESTIMATED AT £40,000. (Per, Press Association.—Copyright.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. Important decisions in connection with the new general hospital at Kow r were reached at a meeting of the Southland Hospital Board. Tenders for the in-patients’ .Mock, estimated to cost £40,000, are to be invited forthwith.
It was also decided to apply under the Unemployment Board’s amended No. 10 Scheme for a subsidy on the complete hospital which, prior to the introduction of the sales tax and the rise, in; the; exchange, was estimated to cost £IIO,OOO.
