FACTOR ABDUCTION
RELEASE REPORTED. | (Received 9 a.m.) CHICAGO, July 12. A message from La Grange, a suburb of Chicago, states that Jacob Factor, who was reported to have been kidnapped on July 2 by an armed gang, was set free tonight. He appeared m the police station ,at * midnight and said he had been released by his. abductors a few minutes before. Reports were immediately circulated that a ransom of 200,0(ft) dollars had been paid by Factor’s family. The liberated man said he was driven to a street car line in a machine escorted by two motor ear loads of hoodlums, released and directed to the police station. Later he went to a hotel, where he was placed under the care of a doctor, who said he was suffering from a nervous breakdown.
