Fire broke out yesterday afternoon in tlie room of the proprietress of tlie Leviathan Private Hotel, Airs Fcrgusson, who lost £2.1 in notes loft in a drawer of her dressing table. The origin of the (ire is not known. The room was empty at the time, and the door was locked. A window Avas open. The room was extensively chaired, and an outside wall was damaged. The (ire brigade stopped the further spread of the flames.
