FIRE RAVAGE
BOLL OF NOTES LOST. (Per Press Association.—Copyright.) WAIPUKUBAU, Tins Day. Fire broke out yesterday afternoon in tlie room of the proprietress of tlie Leviathan Private Hotel, Airs Fcrgusson, who lost £2.1 in notes loft in a drawer of her dressing table. The origin of the (ire is not known. The room was empty at the time, and the door was locked. A window Avas open. The room was extensively chaired, and an outside wall was damaged. The (ire brigade stopped the further spread of the flames.
