Auckland Stock Exchange, and a good list of sales was recorded at the first call, with values still favouring vendors. Insurances were in special request,and buyers in this section raised their" offers without securing transfers. An improved tone in the stock markets was reflected in higher values for Dalgetys and Goldsboro Morts. : -

•Colonial Sugars steadied a little, with buyers at £59, buyers dropping’at £SB. Woolworths (Australian) pref. shares new issue were asked for at £1 5/-, aricl there were sellers at £1 5/6. There were no offerings of Government stocks, and buyers offers were unchanged.
