While boarding the Blufl-Tnvercargil] train at Greenhills last evening, Mr W. ■Walter Henry Darlison, signal adjuster, slipped, and a wheel of the guard’s van passed over his foot, which was badly crushed. j Dr Darlison was removed to the ►Southland Hospital, and after an operation had been performed it was reported that his condition was satisfactory.
