" We had applications from 7+ hien, hut we had to limit the number to about. 00,- because. our accommodation, would only deal with that number conveniently, especially as part of the conference involved laboratory work.” Auckland and Poverty Bay are represented by .13 men, Taranaki by 18, Wellington and Wairarapa by, 13, .Efawke’s Bay by 2, and the South Island-‘by 0. They come from as far. North ns;Awanui and southward as. far as ’Southland, while Westland has one representative.
