A reduction in its charges lor the. cool storage of fruit, and cheese was approved at a meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board.
The board had come to its decision after having carefully considered the position of the dairy farmer and the fruit-grower, said the chairman, Mr C. ,T, B. Norwood, in an interview at the the close of the meeting, and it felt that its duty was to extend to the primary producers every facility within its power.
