The best golf of the tournament was seen in the morning semi-final when Longuet beat Parker at the 19th. Longuet took 37 both out and in to Parker’s 30 and 38. Longuet took the 10th in four to five. In the other semifinal Cook beat Arthur Duncan, 4 and

The Anal of the Otago amateur golf championship was played at the Balmacewan links yesterday between Dr. K. Ross and J. H. MeDougall, in fine but windy weather. During the latter part of the match, which was played over 30 holes, Ross’ familiarity with championshij) conditions gave him considerable advantage, and he won fairly easilv by 0 and 5.
