MRS BONNEY'S VENTURE CONSISTENT PROGRESS. EN ROUTE TO SINGAPORE

Airs Bonney, the Australian airwoman, who is on a flight to England, ■ arrived at Batavia yesterday afternoon. She left for Singapore at 0.30 a.m. today. A later message states that Mrs Bonnev arrived safely at Singapore.
SALE OF AEROPLANE. SOUTHERN SKY DEAL. USE IN NEW ZEALAND. (Received 9 a.m.) f SYDNEY, April 18. At an auction sale of the property of the Australian National Airways (in liquidation), a passenger aeroplane, the Southern Sky, was, purchased on behalf of Mr H. M. Maekay, managing director of the New Zealand Airways. The price was £2150. The machine will remain in Sydney ponding advice from New Zealand, It is a triple-engined craft with accommodation for eight passengers.
