When James Anthony Bbulthard, raged 32, a watersider, was arrested" last week on a charge of stealing x. gold watch, it was found that he hadbeen wanted since 1921 on a charge of failing to account for £2O 13/ to -the - secretary of the Millerton Miners’ Union. *jVH trace of him was lost when he left the district shortly after ~thealleged offence was committed. The police said that he had told the secretary that the ninny had been stolen from him, but this was not true, and when inquiries were made--he disappeared. Accused was fined £3 for stealing the '■atch. and was convicted and ordered to eome up for sentence if called upon within two years on the old charge.
