A reward of £250 in each ease is offered for information concerning the murders of Miss Hilda While, aged ;?3, tin Auckland woman, who was found dead in Centennial Park on duly 27; of Miss May Miller, aged 30, found in Queen’s Park on December 12, of Miss Bessie O’Connor, aged-16, who was discovered in National Park on December In.
All the-victims were terribly battered, the dead bodies being nude and mutilated with some sharp instrument. The police are baffled by all three outrages, which are believed to bo the work of the same person, owing to the familiarity of each case.
