POLITICAL RUPTURE
REICHSTAG IMBROGLIO • NAZIS INTRACTABLE, SPECIAL SESSION DEMAND. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (Received 9 a.m.) BERLIN, December 19. Herr Hitler, the Nazi leader, speaking at Magdeburg, stated that he was unwilling to participate in the Government while their existed a possibility of the Nazis being squeezed out again. “When we go to Berlin, we must never quit,” he said. Meanwhile, the Sosialists, Hitlerites and Communists are tanking a united effort to call the Reichstag together, in order to overrule the Federal Council if it vetoes a bill releasing 15,000 political prisoners before Christmas. The question is whether the Nazi Speaker will summon the Reichstag for a session before Christmas. This will create an open rupture between the Chancellor, General von Schleicher, and the majority of the Reichstag.
