DEATH OF LINESMAN
ELECTROCUTED AT WINTON. (Per Press Association. —(’ouyrisht.) INVERCARGILL, This Day. dolm Aubrey Leyden, aged 27, married, a linesman employed by the Southland Rower Board, was killed on Saturday by elective-ill ion at the board’s sub-station at. Win lon. The deeeased was about to eommciiee repairs to a high-tension line, and an extension ladder apparently fouled tin* line, the enrrent travelling down tinwire on (he ladder to Mr. Leyden, who was standing at the foot- of tin- ladder. Death was instantaneous.
