AT THE MOUNDS
WHANGAREI RIFLE CLUB. FIRST SERVICE SHOOT. During the Aveek-end some members of the Whangarei Rifle Club contested the first stage of the Service series, which consisted uv 5 rounds grouping, 5 rounds application, 5 rounds snap, and 5 rounds rapid at 200 yards range. Considering it was the first occasion on which the open sights have been used this year, the score sheet reflects some very creditable efforts, notably that of .Rifleman H. Cowper.
