FREEZING DISPUTE

Now terms and conditions were enforced at Canterbury freezing works today, and as a result no union men except firemen and greasers accepted work this morning at the New Zealand Refrigerating Company’s works at Islington.

Work was carried on as usual at Borthwick and Sons’ works and at the Canterbury frozen meat works, which are both at (Belfast. A resolution was passed 'sympathising with the strikers, ami offering full support in respect of freezing workers’ efforts to resist wages cuts.
