The Indian Nationalist leader, realising that his campaign for the removal of Hindu caste prejudices against the ‘ ‘ untouchables ’ ’ has been unsuccessful, now threatens 1o resume his fast until death unless the Hindus implement the agreement recently reached at. Poona between representatives of the caste Hindus and tho “untouchables,’' Gandhi comments on the action of a Hindu, Kolappan, in fasting because the caste Hindus refused to open a temple to “untouchables” at Kerala, South India. He adds that if the temple is not opened in a given time ho will fast with Kolappan.
