Lamb, who finished the Kid miles'in filli- 2.lmin LSsee—an average speed of just under 2(i miles an hour. This .vas the second occasion on which Lamb has won the blue riband. He was successful in 1900, when his time .vas Bhr 20min Osec, or nearly two '■ours slower than this year.
