BANK DEPOSITS RATES
CURTAILMENT ANNOUNCED
(Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, October 28
The Commonwealth Bank Board has decided to reduce, as from November I, the rates on fixed deposits by onequarter per cent. There will be a similar reduction in savings bank deposits from between £SOO and £I3OO.
