SEASON ENDED YESTERDAY,

Thu Whangaroi Golf Club’s 1032 season ended in an enjoyable function at the- Mount Dcnby Units' yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately the weather was showery, but there was si- large attendance of members and Visitors.

'File trophies won during the season were presented by the president, Mr L. A. Feist. In doing so lit; congratulated the club on its success and expressed regret that an enjoyable season had to end. The Miramar ladies golf tournament concluded yesterday. In the open semi final Mrs Blain (Wellington) beat Miss Gambrill (Miramar), i> anil 3, and Mrs Ferguson (Auckland) bear Airs Partridge (Hutt), 4 and 2. In the final Airs Ferguson beat Airs Blain, I up. Both players were in form, Airs Blain going out in 40 to Airs Ferguson’s 42. Airs Ferguson came home in 42 to Airs Blain's 40. RECORD BROKEN.
