DEATH FOLLOWS FALL

VERDICT AT INQUEST,

(Per Press Association.—Copyright.) - - NAPIER, This Day

The. death occurred in hospital on Wfednbsday evening of Air -S. A, Legge, aged 39, assistant manager of the oil department of Messrs A. S. Paterson and Co., Ltd. Death followed injuries received as the result of a fall some' weeks ago. At an inquest yesterday a verdict was returned of accidental death.

Mr Legge came to New Zealand some, time before the war and was a cadet on a station in Canterbury. He served with the Expeditionary Force, and upon his return entered into business for himself in Christchurch. Later he joined Afessrs A. fk Paterson and Company’s branch ,in that city. Air Legge had lived in' Wellington for the past five years. He is survived by his wife and two children.
