TRANSPORT PROBLEMS
Seventy per cent, of the advertising undertaken by the New Zealand (Railways Department on last year's working was devoted to newspapers and magazines. A recent issue of the “Railways Magazine" contains an article by Mr Cf. G, Stewart, publicity manager of the railways, in which he states that tliis figure has remained practically constant over a number of years and that comparative figures can be accepted as a fair approximation of the relative value of newspaper and other media for railway advertising purposes.
