GUILT ADMITTED. BAIL REFUSED. (Per Pren» Association.—Popyrlcrbt.) WELLINGTON, Tins Day. Extradited from Australia, Thomas Frederick Garsido, aged 20, shop assistant, formerly employed by the Self-Help Co-operative Stores, appeared before Mr. E. Page, in the Magistrate's Court yesterday* on charges of forging and uttering and obtaining a cheque for £IOO from Charles L. Woolley, by falsely representing that. £.104 12s was due to him from his employers. Accused pleaded guilty to the charges, which included forging the signature of B. Sutherland, a director of the Self-Help Co-operative Stores. When arrested in Australia accused had in his possession a steamer ticket for London. , Garsido was remanded to the Supremo Court for sentence. Bail wa§ refused. i
