MANCHUKUO STATE JAPANESE RECOGNITION PINAL PHASE TODAY. SERIOUS SEQUEL BEARED. (United Press Association—By Electrlo Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received 9 a.m.) . SHANGHAI, September 14. The stage is set for. .the Japanese Government’s recognition of the new State of Manchukno. The signatures are to be affixed to the historic document at 11 a.m. tomorrow. This, will be followed by the appointment of General Muto as Ambassador to the new State. The Japanese Government is fully aware of the grave consequences and repercussions likely to follow this ceremony, but no serious disturbances are anticipated until Sunday. Preparations for a mass demonstration on that day are causing a. precautionary mobilsplion. It will be the anniversary of the Japanese entry into Manchuria. Although China is still pinning her faith to the League of Nations, she will address identical Notes to the League and the signatories of the; Nine-Power Treaty, invoking their aid. If that is not available, China will be compelled to take steps to recover her territory. Bandit outrages continue in Manchuria, where trains are. being derailed almost daily.
