DISQUIETING NEWS
ADVERSE EFFECT. ON LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE. PROFIT-TAKING- SALES. (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, September 13. The slump on Wall Street and disturbing German news have caused weakness on the London Stock Exchange, especially in industrials and mines. There have beeii considerable qtrolit-taking sales in the latter from Paris. British funds have eased slightly. Australian and New* Zealand stocks, however, are quite firm, and some are slightly dearer. Quotations of bank shares and other corporation debentures and stocks compare with previous quotations as follow’s:—
