Taranaki (N.Z.) Oilfields (no liability), li'avc issued a statement. announcing that the Vacuum Oil. Company-is associating itself with, the Taranaki Company with the object of further testing aud developing the landed concessions on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand.
The Vacuum proposes to spend £40,000. One of the first, steps it is taking is the ... resumption of drilling on the Taranaki company’s New Zealand fields.
CONFIRMATORY MESSAGE. EXAMINATION CONTINGENCY. (Per Press Association. —copyright.) WELLINGTON, Tliis Day. Advice of the agreement between the Vacuum Oil Company and Taranaki (N.Z.) Oilfields was received yesterday by Mr C. N. Taylor, general manager and attorney for Taranaki Oilfields in New Zealand.
Mr Taylor stated that the commitment of the Vacuum Oil Company actually to engage upon drilling and development is contingent .upon a thorough geological examination being made by the experts of that company.
