ELECTRIC SHOCK
MAN GLAZY WITH AGONY. SYDNEY, April 28. Terrible injuries wore suffered by W. Southwood, of Battersea Street, Abbotsford, when lie came in contact'with a cable carrying 10,000 volts at. the Rydc (lour mills of Jolm Darling and Sons, Ltd. Every inch of skin was burned from Soutliwood’s body between the head and the knees. At first he fell down, ns if dead. He later recovered, only to suffer severe agony from his blirns. It took four of his workmates to.keep him under control until medical aid arrived.
The Western. Suburbs Ambulance took Southwood to the Western Suburbs Hospital, where he was admitted in a serious condition. fkrutktvood struggled violently, with pain all ;the Way to the hospital.
