Alany, no doubt, were perplexed by the manner in Which - the light would come on again,, glow dully, and then relapse into darkness. The power station is connected by six lines, three of which are used. When the stoppage occurred it was necessary to test out the lines to find which were unaffected, and several experiments were necessary before the best results were secured.
