ANNUAL MEETING OF CLUB

ELECTION OF OFFICERS

The annual meeting of the Whangarei Sheep Dog Trial Club was held in the Winter Show Buildings. Mr J. A. Fihlayson presided over an attendance of twelve members.

It was decided to hold trials on the same location in 1933.

The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr Win. Crawford; president, Mr H. B. Sloane; vice-presi-dent, Mr E. H. Sloane; secretary and Treasurer, Mr N. P. Jack.

The outgoing committee was re-elect-ed, comprising: Messrs W. H. McLeod, J. Mclnnes, J. McKenzie, H. J. Comrio, L.O'Carroll, Geo. Child, Garnet Child, 'W. Allison, C, A. Lovell, F. Redmond, Ellis Finiayson, B. Clotworthy, C. H. ■Finiayson and A. A, Finiayson. The executive was constituted of Messrs Leo. Sloane, R. Newman, F. Clotworthy, W. H, McLeod, J. McKenzie, H. King, J. Mclnnes, H. W. Cole and C. Coxhead.

Votes of thanks were accorded the A. and P. Society for the use of rooms, Mr A. A. Finiayson for supply of sheep, Mr D. J. Finiayson, for use of ground, Mr A. Fletcher for acting as secretary, Mr, V. G. L. McKenzie for officiating as .-judge, and Mrs McKenzie for assisting with records.

Mr R. Newman proposed a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman, which was supported by Mr H. B. Sloane. Mr Finlaysou replied suitable.
