NORTH AUCKLAND SERVICE. TRIAL FLIGHT THIS MONTH. DARGAVILLE-RUSSELL-I " WHANGAREL (Special to "Northern Advocate.”) WELLINGTON, This Day. In continuance: of a series of experimental air mail flights which have been held by the P. and T. Department under the auspices of the New Zealand Air League, a special flight round North Auckland will bo run on April .'lO. The flight will be from Auckland to Dargaville and then across the island to Russell, when, the return section of the trip will begin. The mail aeroplane will fly from Russell to Whangarei, thence to Auckland, The machine, a Simmonds-Spartan, will be piloted by Squadron-Leader M. C. McGregor, D.F.C., who has flown the other recent air mail services. I

The timetable provides for the machine to leave Auckland at 11 a.m. and to reach Dargavillo at 12.15 p.m., leave at 12.45 for Russell, -whore it is duo at .1.30. After a halt of 20 minutes tiie machine will leave for AA’hangarei, arriving there half an hour later.
