ONE-YEAR MORATORIUM. FURTHER REVIEW SUSPENDED. ... (Received 9 a.m.) LONDON, December .7. The Financial Secretary of the Treasury, Major W. E, Elliot, stated in the House of Commons today that no negotiations had began for a further review of international finance, with special reference to the American one-year moratorium of wa“r debts. He said he did not share the view •that import duties and Empire preference need await the evolution of a monetary policy based on the gold standard.
