DEFINITE SHAPE
NEW SOUTH WALES PLANS SAVINGS BANK RESTORATION. MONEY OFFER REPORTED. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, August 13. The movement to resuscitate the New South Wales Government Savings Bank is taking definite shape, with the anouncement that the Government has obtained the consent of four prominent business men to act as trustees of the reconstructed bank. It is also believed that upward's of £15,000,000 of London money is on offer from the Midland Bank, but wellinformed persons think the necessary financial accommodation will be arranged locally. The bill for the reconstruction of the bank will be introduced next week.

A London message says that the Australian Press Association learns that the reports that the Midland Bank has offered to assist the New South Wales State Savings Bank are absolutely without foundation.
