NORTH AUCKLAND TOURNEY.

LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIPS,

TLe semi-final of the North Auckland ladies golf championship was played yesterday afternoon. Mrs Reynolds (Whangarei) heat Mrs Wilkinson (Kaitaia), 2 and 1. Mrs Beattie (Dargaville) heat Mrs Gardner (Whangarei), 4 and 2.

A flag match was played during the morning, resulting in a win for Mrs Beattie, sqnr., who carried the flag half-way to the 19th green.

The junior division was won by Mrs Barriball (Mangonni), who carried the flag nearly to the 20th green. A handicap bogey ,match (seniors) was played during the afternoon, Mrs Ward, 3 down on bogey, being the winner. Mrs Prime won the junior section. 2 doAvn.

The bogey match (junior) was won by Mrs Prime the .previous day, not Mias Barriball. Mrs Prime was 3 down on bogey. The Canadian foursome, played during flie morning, resulted as follows: —

Mrs Wilkinson and Mrs Trembath, 101—23—87.

Mrs .Tounneaux and Miss Drummond, 125—30—95.

Mrs Long and Mrs Richardson, 109 — 25—84.'

The winners were Mrs Kerr and Miss Hawken, Mauhgatapere.
