Celerity was sprinted four furlongs, which took 55 4-ss, the last three furlongs being covered in 41 2-ss. Wild Country jumped off at the six-furlong post and was joined by Taneriri at the half-mile, the latter getting the worst of the pick-up. Wild Country completed her task in 1.18 4-5, the last half mile being traversed by Taneriri in 51 4-ss, Wild Country taking 52 l-ss. Taneriri was (on terms at the finish.

Brown Prince, Scotland Yard and Pal sprinted four furlongs iii 52 2-5 s Thov finished-as named.

Sub-Editor gave Kamehameha .a start and was up with him at the end of a round run in 1.48 3-5, the last half mile taking 56 l-ss.
