Said the man on the box-seat of the \ | bus to the driver; “I’ve 'card tell of | those here five bob cigars what are) smoked by docks and hoarls, amT blokes like that, but give me me old clay, that's wot I say!” Well, for solid comfort and enjoyment a pipe is certainly hard to beat! And another little smoke won’t do anyone any harm provided the baccjy is O.K. Tho trouble is that most brands —including the imported ones are not O.K. Far from it! In fact, they are rendered so harmful by-excess of nicotine that it’s silly to smoke them habitually The only brands it is safe to smoke freely and fearlessly are the New Zealand toasted ones. The toasting cuts out the poisonous nicotine in one act —and at the same time gives those excellent tobaccos their famous flavour and unrivalled bouquet. There are four brands: Biverhead Crold, Navy (Jut No. k, Cavendish and Cut ‘Plug No. KX They differ in flavour ami strength, but there is no difference itf the quality—it is matchless. T.T.b. 187
