HOURS IN COALMINES
LIGNITE PRODUCTION. COMPLETE AGREEMENT. (British Official Wireless. * (Received 9 a.m.) RUGBY, Juno .11. The Commission on Labour in Coal .Mines at Geneva has arrived at. a complete agreement, on the conditions in lignite mines. . The Gorman Government made concessions which will make it possible to arrive at a general convention. The British Minister of Mines, Mr E. Ghiswell, is reported to have taken a leading part in removing which might have led, as happened last year, to the throwing over of the international agreement on hours in mines.
