DWELLING BURNED
OCCUPANTS’ HURRIED EXIT.
(Special to “Northern Advocate. •’’) PALMERSTON N., This Day. An outbreak of fire occurred in a fivo-roomed house at Aokautere about 4 o’clock yesterday morning and the occupants, Mr and Mrs Signal and their two children, had to make a very hurried escape. ’ The children were got out through a window. The house was totally destroyed, and Mr and Mrs Signal, who are recent arrivals in the district, lost all their furniture and effects. The house was owned by the brothers Slack.
