STRUCK BY PROPELLER
GIRL BATHER HURT. (Special to “Northern Advocate.’’) AUCKLAND, This Day. Miss Ruth Wiles, of Eemuera, met with a peculiar and painful accident while bathing at Kawau Island yesterday, when she was struck by the propeller of an outboard motor boat. She received severe lacerations to her right thigh and ankle. The driver of the boat failed to notice the swimmer when he turned the craft suddenly. The sufferer was admitted to • a private hospital later in the day. .
