ROYAL SHOW RIVALRY, (Received 9 a.m.) SYDNEY, April 6. In the Wood-Chopping Championships at the Royal Easter Show at Sydney, the final of the Australian Championship, 15-inch log, was wen by C. Winkle (Queensland)- E. Ehlreth (N.S.W.) was second, and C. Miley (Victoria) third. Whata Green (New Zealand) won his heat, but was not placed in the finals. Time —Glsec. In the combination handicap (12inch standing and 12-inch underhand) log chop, the final was won by M. McCarthy (N.S.W.), with A. Christensen second and J. Kenny third. Time —limn 26see.
In the double-handed sawing championship, Winkle and Ehlreth won the saw-off and championship after -a dead-heat with D. and T. Payne. Time —ls l-ssec.
