CLOSE RELATIONSHIP CLAIM. FIRST COUSIN IN AUSTRALIA. (Received 8.38 a.m.) •SYDNEY, Juno 15. There is an interesting development here following the announcement, from, Christchurch that Mr R. Cape Willia.m.son, a local dentist, claimed to be the only surviving blood relative (second, cousin) of (he late Lord Ashton, whose estate is believed to bo worth, between £30,006,000 and £40,000,000. The “Sydney Morning Herald;” | located and interviewed Mr Henry 1 Jape Wiljiamson, of Creinprne, Sydney, who ela,ims to he first cousin, to Lord Ashton. He stated: “Lord Ash-, ton ’s father, James Williamson, and my father, George Williamson, were .brothers. I can scarcely believe that Lord Ashton died without making a will. His daughter Ella, married' Lord Peel. I resided in New Zealand for many years and was assistant to. a number of prominent medical men.”
