WHANG AREI LEADS THE WAY. (Special to “Northern Advocate.") AUCKLAND, This Day. The activities of the new commercial branch of the Post and Telegraph Department will be concentrated in the meantime on telephone development, particularly in the four centres. Residential subscribers per 100 householders at present are: Whangarei 46.4, Hamilton 42.3, Wellington 30.9, Dunedin 23.4, Auckland and Christchurch, both 19.3.
