SIR P. GAME APPOINTED,

Ilia Majesty has approved the appointment of Air Vice-Marshal Sir Philip Woolcott Game, K.C.8., to be Governor of the State of New South Wales in succession to Admiral.. Sir Dudley Do Chair, whose term. of office will shortly expire. One of Sir Philip Game’s uncles is Sir Henry Wigram, founder of the Aeroplane School at Christchurch, from which 180 pilots were sent to the war. He was Mayor of Christchurch'' for a period and a member of the Legislative Council.
