Maungakaramea was well represented among the prize-winners at the Whangarei High School this year, Gwen Gillingham winning first prize in maths, and science in form IVJJ, and getting second for English and French, while Marjorie Gillingham, in the same form, was first in English and French, and first in commercial work. Henry,Wenzlick, in form 2B in the Junior High School, won first prize for woodwork. Mr W.*H. Gillingham and his eldest son Bert left by the express this morning to spend the week-eiuT in ‘Auckland.
