LICENSE FOR HOSTEL
AGREEMENT MULL BE OBSERVED,
(Per Press Association.— Copyright.) WELLINGTON, This Day
Mr Thompson, chairman of the National Park Board, interviewed, said that .so far as the board was concern ed it is going to strictly observe the present law and the agreement as te the embargo on liquor in the King Country, entered into by the Govern hient with the natives.
He says then 1 must be some mistake regarding the statement that a license has been granted by the Maori owners, as there are no .Maori owners oi the Tongariro National Park, and, b any ease, if there were they would not be in a position to grant any person a license to sell spiritons liquors.
