INTERNATIONAL SETTLEMENT
CHARTER OF THE BANK DETAILS ANNOUNCED.
(Received 12.54 p.m.) BERLIN, November 15,
Under the charter of the Bank of International Settlement,, which will have its headquarters at.Basle, the Swiss Government agrees not to repeal or amend the charter except by agreement on" the part' of the organising powers.
The bank will be exempt from taxation and stamp duties arid immune from control or confiscation in times of peace or war, , and also immune from. the restrictions on gold export.
